Wow, anyone been to ilovesbees.com recently? 777/777 axons, and the story has evolved A LOT. Now to activate some of the axons people are being contacted by phone I think and they give name and rank, crazy stuff. Seems like the person on the phone isn't automated either.

WTF... doesnt this have something to do with Halo 2's release?

For those confused: It's this new fangled thing on the internet called "Alternate Reality Games" or ARG. They're usually tied into the promotion of something, such as the movie "A.I." or this most recent ILB one which is designed to promote the game Halo 2 (the A.I. one was a much better promotion IMO).

Basically, a website is revealed through some sort of traditional media, usually a movie trailer. This leads to a string of clues, puzzles, riddles, websites and games that the players are meant to decipher and subsequently progress through the game. Eventually these clues usually lead to phone numbers, faxes, mail correspondence, video feeds, etc. In the case of the A.I movie promotion, even live "on-the-street" rallys were held using real actors protesting robots and such.

People get way into these things, although for me, the ends are usually not worth the process involved.
