The songs really give a good boost in the gaming / racing pleasure.

PS: leave the downloading is illegal crap because it isnt, the burning of the songs is.

Yeah, but at least Halo's soundtrack represents a massive collection of original composed music. Very well composed music in my opinion, its better than many movies.

crap aliens would be fun to shoot at....... and car games never amuse me... pretty boring, havent tried the newer NFS though.
as for the music its pretty much poo, the whole techno, dance, hip hop and rap thing dosn't do it for me

I dont like the music on the game, some if not most is awful. I prefer the music to the first game if i had to pick one. otherwise it'd be beathoven

Take a look at the best selling games almost every year, they're always mediocre sports titles or The Sims, then take a look at 90% of any video game awards type thingy, you won't see a single sports game or The Sims in the #1 spot. The reason? They're the epitome of mediocrity.
