i cant believe this shit...

I was going to look over my computer a bit so i turned it off and went to look on the back side of it... i noticed my Voltage button was on 230V so dumb as i was i changed it and the PSU just *poff*... Id changed it to 115V which was to little for it to handle... Now i am in some serious panic...

Does anyone know if this can be repaired by getting a new PSU or do i have to buy a whole new computer???

im so damn sorry now so i cant even say it ;(

What made you change it at all?
Anyway, buy a new or get it repaired (send it to where you bought it if warranty still apply). Hopefully your mobo havent been damaged, I've had one PSU meltdown, didnt hurt my mobo. But then again, I didnt change the voltage...

I would reset your motherboard (cmos reset jump) just in case that doesnt do it.
When I got my PSU in the US it was not set to 115 (like its sposed to).
But even after i powered it on with the wrong voltage it worked after i turned off my psu, reset it to the right voltage, reset my motherboard.
Otherwise if your psu is dammaged..and nothing else is. Should just replace the psu. I would test it with another psu just to make sure b4 u go replacing anything though.

Where is the "Cmos reset jumper" on the mobo? dont know this for a fact...

Just pop out your cmos battery and pop it back in. You'll have to reset some stuff, but that should do it.

You say it works Razorblade... but dont you think that its actuall broken... that the parts will never work again? i mean.. what has the Cmos battery have to do with te PSU going wild and ignite?

lol, my friend did that once... he was fine.
things ran horribly, he quickly turned off his PC, set it back, and things were fine again
