dont forget to dl the ET patch, I think it's 1.02. Also it has a steep learning curve; run and gun it's not. The best ET players are the teamplayers

I played RTCW 2 years ago, quit a bit fun, easier then ET

I played FarCry demo but at the moment I'm on a laptop ( ET running nice on it) because I've sold my old PC and I'm waiting for an Athlon 64 3800+ and especially the 800XT etc. :imu:

that's what makes it sooo good ...so much teamwork and stragety involved but at the same time you could play the game as you would UT; run and gun (wont stay alive for long, but it is fun to blast peeps with the panzershrek). A good player can make all the difference in the team and can actually win the map alone by providing essential tactics ...for example I'll switch classes 4-5 times throughout a game depending on what role is needed to support my team (covering fire, explosives, infiltration etc)

if youd like a very interesting abandonware/free game its called "noctis". its got poor graphics, but its pretty amazing. a complete universe in a 1.7 mb file. you can explore stars, planets, and their moons. theres life, birds, etc. its pretty cool. you can nanme the stars, and theres a very active community constantly naming stars and planets and stuff. might be worth a go, ive been playing with it. make sure to read the manual though.

playing online with 100ppl in one server. A bit of chaotic but a fun game
