i need a good one... i really liked NFS:U and Freedom Fighters i just bought/beat. but i need more games... i hunger for more games... :borg:

so any suggestions? that aren't:

CoD
MP2
Halo
NFS:U
Freedom Fighters

You got Homeworld 2? Thats pretty good, of course you have to like those kind of games to really play it.

I know its not new but Medieval: Total War is really good as well. But again, its one fo those games where you ahve to be into the genre i suppose.

i used to be w/ the whole RTS game scene... but then i realized i suck at RTS games ;(

Freedom Fighters isn't very good. Actually I think it sucks, and the physics sucks even more!

MP2 is completed after 4 hours of instense playing.

Halo ROCKS!

Call Of Duty is completed quite easily too

well, thanks but that doesn't really help. and freedom fighters was a great game!!!!

now... can i have sum valid opinions?

Well if your into MMORPGs pick up FFXI or SWG, both have tons of stuff to do.

KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC

damn this is the best star wars game i've ever played. it rivals tie-fighter for that title i think. it's an RPG, not a harcore RPG you understand but it's very well put together and it's in the star wars universe!!! bonus!! definitely an awesome game even if you don't like star wars.

aside from that the only other game that's really caught my attention is Hidden & Dangerous 2. it's the best world war II game i've ever played. better than CoD and MoH hands down.

Well ok,
Max Payne 2 has a great story and fantastic acting voices. I really love the game, it's just a shame that it's so easy completed because they could easily have made it even longer. The monolog in the game is more than perfect! Max's monolog-lines are great and really deep! I've actually thought about using some of the lines in some essays.
9/10
The reason why it doesn't get 10/10 Including a V.I.P. (Very Important to Play) is that it's completed extremeeeeeeeeely fast!

Halo:
WAAAAARGH!!!!!! This is the greatest game since Marathon (an old Bungie game. I bet the game is better when you know Marathon, than when you don't). Well, it's instant action, in different vehicles and fun aliens. Yes, the aliens are fun because some of them are so little and pathetic that you can't help feel sorry for them. Especially when they flee in terror, hahahaaaaaaaaa! You get to drive a lovely jeep where 2 of your teammates can join you, you get to fly around (yourself) in a one-man fighter and then there's the gliders and other machinerys.
But Halo demands a lot from your computer so make sure your computer can kick ass if you buy it.
Oh and the multiplayer is funniest MP I've ever tried!
9/10 Including a V.I.P.

Call of Duty starts out with extreme loud, chaotic, and bloody action...It's simply just beautiful!
Have you tried MOHAA? Well if yes then you probably don't think you can expect much more of a WW2 game...well then you're wrong! It's 10.000 times better than MOHAA! The graphics rock and the sounds are beautiful! Actually there's not much to say about other than if you liked MOHAA then buy this shit...NOW!!
9/10 V.I.P.

Ok wait...he asked what games would you suggest not rate the ones he has beaten and is done with....

Oh yea and the new Prince of Persia is really good.

btw is NFS:UG any good? I couldnt get the demo to work and the controls looked like shit in the options menu....

I thought those where the game that he didnt want suggested? :)

Anyway, I would say KOTOR. Hell, I dont even have the game yet, but I still suggest it!

For multiplayer, I would suggest Savage. Although that is more a game for the future, it has the possibility of giving us the coolest war mods ever seen for a game.

Edit: why is always everyone so much faster than me? The top line is of course in response to that longass semireview post.

Hmm. I would have to recommend KOTOR to. I played it on the XBOX and it is amazing....

well i haven't played it but heard good things about Hidden and Dangerous 2.. guess u could give that a try.

Wouldn't you like to know?

I HIGHLY recommend Chaser. It's one of the best first person shooters I have ever played, and I have played them all. It has a very good story, awesome graphics, aweosome Music score that goes with the game, amazing gameplay even drivable vehicles, many different enviroments, lots and lots of weapons and items, and a killer multi player mode.

The Story:

The game

Chaser is a first person shooter, built on the high-end 3D engine (CloakNT), in which main character passes through real environments and uses real weapons.

Mars, 2044. The UN establishes MARSCORP (Martian Security and Economics Committee) under the leadership of Samuel Longwood. In the years that follow, the UN gradually loses control of MARSCORP, mainly due to the non-transparent licence policy of its director.

Samuel Longwood uses his autonomous status to create vassal relations between the corporations and MARSCORP. The unshakable power position of MARSCORP is supported by the companies and thus they acquire additional rights and licenses. Samuel Longwood and his consortium become extremely wealthy from this arrangement. However, dissenting voices in MARSCORP begin to challenge Samuel Longwood's authoritarian policy.
They demand the dismissal of Samuel Longwood as director and a complete redistribution of the mining rights.
But Samuel Longwood keeps an ace up his sleeve for occasions like this…

Chaser awakens on board the spaceship H.M.S. Majestic. He doesn't know who he is, what he's doing here, why he is being sought by men in black uniforms and what they will do to him when they find him…

The player's goal is to find out who Chaser really is and why he is being hunted. The story leads the player from the H.M.S. Majestic to Montack City on Earth, then on to Siberia and finally to Mars, where the trail ends and hopefully the truth can be found.

If you like RPG's then go for Gothic 2. It is such an amazing game.
That is something I would advise too, had it not been for KOTOR. Gothic II is very good, but kind of budget compared to KOTOR. Not that its a flaw, I actually like the style. Or love it. Its the best fantasy RPG adventure since BGII.
The voice acting rule, see my sig :)

Ya the voice acting is amazing. I havn't had so much fun playing a fantasy game for a long time. Personally I think Gothic 2 whipes its ass with both Morrowind and Neverwinter Nights.

Although Morrowind is in another class, I would say yes :)
Its important to call them RPG adventures though, not just RPGs... And Gothic II is definetly more toward the adventure side than the RPG side, whereas NWN is a mix (poor one at that) and Morrowind is a more standard RPG without the adventure part (some parts are, where you feel part of the main quest. They are rare though).

same here, I love rts games but I suck at em =\
I just don't feel like goin mad clicky omgz, I kinda relax and take it a bit slower. Which of copurse leaves me dead. Thats why I like fps games, more relaxing.

Well, I just picked up a 2 pack with Cliver Barker's Undying and American McGee's Alice for 14$ (CAN) at EB. Both are really good games.

I got really tyerd of RTS games too (and i sucked at them) but wile I was at my grandperants yesterday my grandpa was playing Command & Conquer : Generals. Its so freakn' awsome!!!!! I just played the skirmish mode where you just do a quick fight and the gameplay is so much better than the old C&C. Im gonna get it :)

I was thinking of picking up Generals + Zero Hour but I heard that Generals won't run on a Radeon 9600 series.
