Well, I don't know at what University you studied or what kind of studies you did, but I know that I'll have to work my ass off, once I'm at college.

I did work hard, I do a hard course - but it's something I'm good at - History.
However the time spent having fun outweighs the time spent working.

First year is a doss anyway - doesn't count towards your degree.

I finished college over 7 years ago. Trust me, it doesn't get better. It gets worse. Much, much worse. Any regrets you have now will grow in size exponentially as time goes on. Summer vacations vanish and friends start going their own ways. Give yourself two years after graduation of college and you'll want to jump off a bridge. I've been working on my career for 7 years. Now I only have another 36 years before I'm eligible for retirement. That's longer than I've been alive. That thought is very daunting.

My advice. Live life, have a fun summer. Be smart but don't allow yourself to have regrets. Congrats on the end of the year. I wish this time of year meant something to me.

Me too, I finished Uni, found a job I can really enjoy and get into.

Life is too short for regrets, just enjoy what you have, and push yourself to go the extra mile.

Sounds like you're doing it the right way. School is obviously important, but enjoying the best years of your life is/was much more important to me. I went through school on a C average. I had maybe too much fun in college, but I have a great paying job and nobody has ever asked to look at my grades. Unfortunately it doesn't make the work-a-day life any easier to bear. I've been working for what seems like an eternity and now I only have about 5-6 times that left to go.
