I ordered it today. I'm getting the Deathadder. I so can't wait to get it. I tried it at a Bestbuy, with Crysis. And my God! It's amazing, and so is Crysis. Once I get more money I'm getting that game lol

Awesome, nice choice.

In before 'this could have gone in misc.'

Dang it!
I had a feeling I should've posted this somewhere else lol
Is there a way to move it?

No, it's okay, this is the right board. I was making a joke. How much is it costing you?

I bought a brand-new Razer Death Adder a couple of weeks ago actually, it was $60 at my local Best Buy. I love it so much <3 First time I've ever spent more than $5 on a mouse and god was it worth it :D

Cheap little ones? lol
The one I'm using now is an HP one. It's so small and light, but it has slow response. I can probably barely throw it at the wall and it will break
I don't have to buy a pad for it do I?
I read it works well on any surface

^^^^^^
You don't need a pad probably unless your desk has a really weird texture. The mouse slides comfortably on most hard surfaces and the laser or whatever is VERY precise. Although I do use a basic mousepad.

What the hell kind of mouse is five dollars?

well the last one I had was a wired optical mouse I picked up with my first build a few years ago that cost $5. before that i just had random wired ball mouses that came with various dell or compaq PCs my father bought.

I use a piece of paper as a pad lol
I wanna get one of the Razer pad's
I don't need one, but I just want it
Just like me wanting the Tarantula or Lycosa
And possibly the Barracuda
I don't need them 'cause I have other working things
But I want them!!!! lol

IMO, pads certainly do make a difference. Especially if it has a cushion rest on it. I don't know what surface you have but my mouse (mx518) also works on any surface, with the wood that constitutes my desk, the movement wasn't nearly as precise or smooth.

wow, nice pick

it performs remarkably well at top speeds (especially compared to other mice like the G5) and it's generally really good in general, one of the best mice on the market. i use one as well. <3 it.

Is the reason my mice always die(not really, but almost useless) from the dreaded double click microswitch because I never pay 80-100 dollars for them?

I've been wanting a deathadder for a while. I saw they had it for $20 at Circuit City. But it was a clearance, and they didn't have any left. Still annoyed about that.

doubt it. It has more to do with you being a Minotaur probably. Anyway, I'd try a different brand.

I bought myself a G5, but later got myself a DiamondBack 3G for free through a magazine subscription. I personally prefer the G5, so I stuck with it and sold the Razer.

I've got an eXactMat. It's basically a sheet of metal with a smooth & grainy side. I've never found the need to use the control side though, as you can turn the sensitivity down with the push of a button. Its a tad expensive but its a good buy. I've never had a different mat other than the standard DELL one, so I couldnt compare the gaming ones, sorry.

Nice one, wait till you see the awesome packaging it comes in. Seriously, best packaging ever.

The deathadder is nice, but it doesn't work really well on cloth mousepads except one or two. So if you prefer cloth pads, you're better off with an mx518 (old 1600dpi one) unless you have a Everglide Titan fnatic.

I've got myself a Lachesis + Control/Speed Razer mats.

How is the Lachesis? I have been looking at getting a new mouse because this M$ one is hard to line up on a target.

I've got an extra large square shaped WOWPAD in graphite color.

It's really thin and really smooth and it doesn't seem to wear out. I've had mine for a couple years. It's so smooth that your mouse might move by itself from the slightest vibrations if you aren't holding it. It's easy to clean too. Soap and water.

Anyway, it's probably the best mousepad you can get for such a low price, so I recommend it.

I don't recommend anything but the biggest one. The smaller ones are just too small.

That sucks. I rather like large cloth pads.

DeathAdder for the win. Used to have Logitech MX510 before it, which sucked. Once you try Razer there's no going back.

60$! Too cheap. Mine cost like 75e, which is like 109$. Althou I bought it right when it came.

I got a Copperhead about a year ago and I must say that I thoroughly enjoy it. I has given me the upper hand in many FPS's and i'm sure that the Death Adder will do the same for you.
