I'm getting kicked by punkbuster! (BF 2142)

Need help..punkbuster keeps kicking me off the server like every 15 secs, and every single server. Anybody now how to assist me?

Some lame servers have a very strict no-profanity rule (as I just found out not 2 minutes ago).

"That's some ****ing bullshit right there" = kicked

You might need to manually update punkbuster. Try going to their site and go to the BF2142 section.

The funniest thing was in BF2, when I was in first place with like 120 points, and I was kicked by punkbuster for saying "WTF" right before the end of the match.

Uninstall, wipe all traces of the game. Restart - Reinstall - Patch - Play.

Happened to me and no PB update would fix the issue.

It says in the New Ticker that there may be a few problems with punkbuster kicking people. Go to

www.evenbalance.com

Follow the route for Battlefield 2142 and that should see you right
Not 100% on that one as it hasnt affected me but I did have a similar problem with Call Of Duty 2 and I followed this path and all was fine afterwards. Good luck!
