ok, this is my problem.

I bought a dell (dimension desktop 5000 bronze), and it has this f**king motherbord with no PCI Express and no AGP x8 but just this stupid retarded PCI slot (well 3 actually). And i was wondering if one of you guys knows what to do ?... I ask this lady at DELL if i could put a graphic card in and she sad yes soo i cant say that she didnt tell me or something.

do any of you know a good graphic card for max 250 euro ... please tell me !

You won't find a good graphics card for PCI slot, but you can find a graphics card that will work, your best bet is to look for nvidia fx series pci slot cards.

No PCI card will be able to play BF2 with any playable framerates ... if you want to play games or have an upgradeable PC, stay the hell away from DELL.

Best thing you can do is sell your rig on ebay or send it back to Dell. Build your own to your own specifications.

Send the computer back. That is a waste of money. Say they sent you the wrong one.

'cause you have to open the case and break the holographic sticker. I've done it numerous times.

Only the XPS's seem to have cases that want to be opened. My mate has one of those.

You won't get good fps with any PCI vid cards. My friend had a Radeon 9200 PCI and he could barely play CS 1.6.

You could get someone to swap out the motherboard to one with PCI-E or AGP as long as you can find one to fit your case (as dell sometimes uses proprietairy parts). It would be a big job but you should be able to find someone to do it. Unless you return the whole PC you will never get playable framerates out of a PCI card especially for future titles.

yea, basically, you've wasted your money if you were playing to play games with this machine. Dell has a proprietary mobo size (it looks like ATX or mATX, but the mounts are completely different) the best PCI card that exists is the Geforce FX5600, and that card can run ANYTHING decently. Its right on par with the 5200.

Build yourself a new computer.

DELL use cheap sh!t..build ur own, AMD Athlon 64 is the way to go & PCI - Express

Theres no point u getting a new GFX card, PCI will not gain ur performance any better. U need to sell and get sum-1 or build ur own comp.

But is u insist this is the best PCI card i have found....

i know they didnt lie but my dad ask if a high standard graphic card could be put into my motherboard... and she just yes, but know shes saying that she warned us, so were mailing people and bla bla bla its a f**king messs :'(

BUT my dad is maybe taking my new pc and buying me a new one because he needs a new machine to ...maybe
