Yeah while trying to be a nice guy that's the message I ended up sending to girl on a date. Despite my best judgement I started talking about money and jobs and economy .. and then I said I could help her get a job. Sure enough a couple of weeks later I started getting calls from her and all her girlfriends asking for the same thing.

Now, WTF do I do? Should I keep being nice and keep trying to look like someone who's well-connected? (ROFL, I barely got myself a job, let alone other people) Maybe I could use this to my advantage somehow? Or should I tell them to stop because soon I might end up being an employment agency...

Well, my advice would be to tell them you'll let them know when your employers are hiring at your particular job. Unless of course you don't want to work with them.
If you really want to put in the effort you could look at job adds in the paper and stuff. Again that depends on how much you really care, heh.

Hmmm... you may have something there.. if the whole pimping thing doesn't work out....when you hook them up..charge them

Seriously though... when they call.. tell them that you are really busy with your current job...and you'd need some compensation if you hook them up...
