I just checked my mailbox about 10 minutes ago. I was hoping to see my November issue of PCGamer in it. I opened it up, and there it was! :O Except one problem, QUAKE IV was on the cover. I then found out that Half-Life 2 was not reviewed! I was upset and still am. I actually thought PCGamer had snagged another World Exclusive Review and they were playing Half-Life 2 as we speak. I mean, I see no other game that can have "the whole industry racing to these very pages", except Half-Life 2. QUAKE IV, I could really care less about. But after I'm done reading, that might be a false statement.

Now, who else thought PCGamer had the review of Half-Life 2? I sure did.

Well, I guess I better get reading to see how good or how bad QUAKE IV is going to be.

We can always hope for the next issue to be Half-Life 2.

I'm'a start reading it right now.

*And yes, QUAKE IV looks like it's going to be another DOOM 3, from the screenshots I've seen. But hopefully better. :E

Ha...another Doom 3 eh? This has already been talked about. It uses the same engine, but a lot is different. The two games run along different themes entirely.

Hah, that's easily fixed: Play at nights and eat while you're doing that. Sleep when you should be at school, and that way you get rid of A) people B) girlfriend

Yeah well, I thought Valve had sent PCGamer a finished copy of Half-Life 2, secretly. Well, guess not, now.

Right now, im looking forward to EQ2 more than HL2. I think the reason is that theres accually a flow of info coming and informing players for games like WoW and EQ2..but with hl2 all we hear is "release date soon....." and we've been lied to before. So meh.

Guild Wars isn't an MMORPG in the strictest sense, though.

Isn't it dungeons/enemy territory = instanced
and
Towns = MMO?

I think that's how it was in the E3 beta, yeah?

Besides, they'll make their money by charging for expansions. Which, I have a feeling, will be alot of the "big" updates. $10 for an update that adds a few new areas, or something. Every couple months or so. You just watch!
