I'm Soooooooooo Tired... Bah...

It's been dry out for the past couple weeks and I've been geting alot of nose-bleeds, I've been told that since it's dry my veins in my nose are close to the outside, but the nose-bleed I had today f*cked me up......

I sneezed, all was fine for about 10 seconds, then blood start literally pouring out of my face, in a steady stream out of my nose, I couldn't find kleenex, and I held my head over my sink (nose pointing towards drain), and, like I said, it was a steady stream of blood, I must've lost a hell of a lot of blood, because at about 3:00pm (I get up at 7:00am), I sort of passed out because I was so tired, I stayed home today from school due to the fact that my nose bled from 8:00am to about 10:30am.

I say "sort of passed out" because I was in the middle of a conversation and got extremely tired all of a sudden, and then just fell asleep..

Sooooooooo tired....

EDIT: It was actually kind of neat to see how much blood I could actually lose from my head without getting messed up (besides tired-ness), without being emo..

Never tip your head back when you get a nosebleed. This is the most popular (and worst) advice ever. It's actually dangerous as it causes the blood to run down your throat into your stomach/lungs. At the least it can make you feel sick, at the worst it can choke you.

Pinch the bridge of your nose tightly and tilt your head down - this stops the blood (as long as you apply enough pressure) ... just stay like this for 10 mins or so.

Nah but seriously, doctor man. Oh and get lots of Iron in you, whether that be via pills or eating green veg 24/7. I had the same problem in terms of tiredness. Everything was pissing me off and i was crying randomly. Ate vegetables at lunch and dinner for about a week and i felt so much better.

I know not to put my head back, I'm not stupid. I pinch very tightly, but here is an example of how bad it bleeds: I hold my head straight, and there is enough pressure to start making the blood go down the bleeding nostril, and out the other not bleeding one. There is also enough pressure to force the blood down my throat. It bleeds for about 2 hours (doesn't actually bleed if I pinch tight, but if I let go it'll start bleeding).

My mom said they might have to burn it (I forgot the word, but burning is what they basicly do), my sister had it done, anyone else have it done? Does it hurt?

I've just learned that my brother and sister also have had this problem at my age, my brothers wasn't that bad, my sisters was bad, and I'm told mine is better then my sisters but worse then my brothers.
