I'm stuck in the Root Kanal too

Hi Just got the game yestaerday(UK time) but wans't able to create an accout(suppose the servers been buisy) so I did one next day, anyhow I am stuck early in this level when you jump through the air vent into a room that is full of exploding barrels and fills up with them spinning blade things, well I have tried and got into the vent these things got out of but it is a dead end, tried to get most of the barrels into the water in the other room with big grates to try to maybe blow it open but nothing, I can't figure out how to get out of there or where I am supposed to go. If anybody can shed some lightI'll be grateful, cheers.

You need to go into the next room and raise the water level. This is contolled by a turning switch on a diagonal pipe that you need to climb up. After this, swim back into the explosion room and through the red tunnel to the next room over. In this room, swim to the bottom and cut the wood to release the crates. You need to stack them to reach the opposite side of the room.

you can simply jump to the other side... i've seen that there all kind of puzzles that can be solve by jumping instead of what the developers thought...
