Im in the route kanal. I have entered the carriage with te civilian. the walktrough tells me to talk with him. But how?

I think he means the bit where you drop into the red train carridge with the human and the vortigaunt.

As to talking to them, you don't they come up and talk to you. Try reloading an earlier save game and droping in again.

It should be almost instant. It could be the AI is disabled. This is a common flaw with the pirate version, for which there is no fix. I'm not saying you have the pirate version, but if you do, you will need to buy a legal copy for it to work properly.

If not, reloading the game from an earlier stage might fix it.

Does it say 'AI Disabled' anywhere on the screen? If so, go buy the game.
