I wouldn't go out of my way to call you a bad person, but I can't see a funny side to this. :\
 
its just ironic how in avoiding the cat he injured a crowd of kids and an adult. but it isnt funny in any way shape or form.
 
No i'm entertained too sadly, and my friend, but now we feel awful about it :( It really is one of those stories like that. Damnit, why must people post these! ;( ;( ;(
 
I laugh at the dumbass behind the wheel... while I feel sorry for the poor kids. Those two things don't have to be mutually exclusive.
 
My friend said this:
'The driver probably just saw 'something' move in front of his car, and instinctively swerved to avoid it. I very much doubt that he was thinking 'OK, I'll save this cat by ploughing into those kids'.

some of the kids are seriously injured, but hey, the whole thing itself is... unusual.
about that "where german babies come from"... you have noticed the difference between ratings in canada or us, and germany haven't you?, i think that's i found the reason...
 
Stern, as awful as it is, I think it never hurt anybody to have a sense of humor. I mean, sure, it sucks, but the irony of the whole situation is beautiful. Just because you feel bad for them doesn't mean you can't see the humor! I laughed, and I'm proud of it.
 
Truth of the matter is, whenever there's tragedy in the news, the first thing to happen is the joke e-mails and text messages to circulate.
 
I doubt any of you would have laughed if you were parents ...innocent kids were seriously injured ..I'm all for laughing at funny situations but imho this isnt one of them

It's only funny because of the ridiculously high number of children run over.

If it were 1-6 children it would be sad,
If it were 7-14 children it would be horrible,
If it were 15-30 children it would be a tradgedy,
But 31-36 children? That's comic gold.

its funny because its ironic and nobody likes 5 year olds. the only way the story would have been better is if he had hit the cat AND the children.
 
That's why you don't swerve like mad away from animals, unless it's a rhino or something.

Just fit a cow catcher to the front of your car mad max style and you'll be fine.

I didn't laugh at this (not because it was 'serious' but because it just didn't make me giggle)

But I just want the world to know, if I am injured or killed in a manner where the situation is humerous, it's okay to laugh. If I die because a clown car T-Bones me in an intersection, I'm not going to be butthurt in whatever's next after life if people find it hillarious.
 
Meeerh. I can see why you could chuckle for a second, but I don't find it funny myself. Stern's right though, some people are just insensitive.
