Well does anybody know if this is possbile.
The reason I am asking this is because I am doing a paper or essay( i think it is called something like that in english) and I'd like to make it look very nice esthetically, and I just can't do all that in word. So is there like a program that like scans the word file and turns it in a image or does anyone know of a trick I can use, or any other way.

Thnx in advance.

I'm pretty sure PS can import PDF's, turn your DOC into a PDF (not sure what program to use for this, but Adobe Acrobat works (not Reader, just Acrobat) but it's not free.

Seems a bit extreme. What exactly do you want to do to make your essay look nice? I'm sure any presentation touches you want to do can be done in word.
Don't forget, if you convert your essay into a photoshop file, its going to make it a lot harder to edit if you need to, and the text might come out odd as an image file.

theres loads of ways to do this
one is just make a text in PS and copy and paste ur text ....u can also do it the pdf way
or take a screen of ur text and paste that (printscreen button)
OR! .....some scannners have a OCR function optical character recognition which will turn ur scanned image into text .

Yeah I guess it does, I don't want to do anything that special it is just that I'm used to working with photoshop, I like the control it gives me. Working with images colors and so i feel a lot more comfortable with ps then word, and I think it is far more easier. I mean at first you might think word is easier but once you get used to ps, and the layer and channel system then it's just addicting, you don't want to go back. Anyways thnx for all the advice allready givin and keep em coming if you have something new to add.

I believe you can use a program called CutePDF which allows you to print documents to a PDF file where you would normal print them out...if you get what i am saying. I've used it alot and it does an excellent job. Just google for it, i think its shareware if i remember correctly.
