Not sure where to post this, but...
I have read all the books, listened to the audiobooks, and seen all the movies thus far. I thought it might be fun to post what you think are superior examples of all three versions you have experienced.
So, here's mine:
Fave Book: Goblet of Fire.
Best written I think, though I do like Half-Blood Prince as a close second. The relationship scenes do it for me in HBP, though GoF has a much tighter storyline.
Fave Audiobook: Half-Blood Prince.
The way the narrator does the voices this time completely nails it. And again, I'm a huge fan of the relationships which come to fruition in this one.
Fave Movie (Thus far): Prisoner of Azkaban.
Alfonso does such a perfect job of setting the imagery that I envision the Potterverse as, and the relationships the characters will have later set it a world apart.
