So im taking International business this semester and I have a project coming due that requires me to develop contacts with ten people who are currently living outside the United States in at least five different countries. I need to get a contact name (Just First if don't feel comfortable giving last) and email that I can reach you at. These are the questions I need you to answer for me.

1) What do you think is the most difficult challenge for U.S. businesses that want to do business in your country?

2) What one product or service do many people in your country want but do not have today?

3) What one product or service do many people in your country enjoy that consumers in other countries may not know about?

If any of you could answer these three questions for me and email me back at [email protected] they shouldnt take long and you would be doing me a WORLD of help!!

Thanks guys! Agent M

Krynn can't detect a joke.

I wouldn't be an ass and actually waste his time by sending that to him.

1. Appropriate marketing. Making an honest impression that's appears less aggressive and more trustworthy of the average person. Convincing localization and translation of the product, it's slogan and the corporate messages.

2. Tivo, more 7-eleven type of all-night stores and KFC maybe? I haven't been to the states so I wouldn't know what we're missing, there are more or less good solutions to most needs today. I can only think of more convenient or streamlined businesses. American apparel and places like Subways and Wayne's coffee are making a killing here though. But don't expect to beat IKEA in the furniture department. ;)

3. Snus

You did it backwards.

It requires special preparations and a lot of concentration. And years of reflex training.

1) Smaller market, smaller dollar, wary of flashy advertisement (ie: not enthusiastic towards lots of smoke and mirrors)

2) Can't Really think of anything atm

3) Maple Syrup (the real stuff, not table syrup)

I really have no clue

I live in Texas... does that count as living outside the United States?

Not me though, I would like to trust you but on the other hand your just a name on the internet, and unlike others here a name I'm not too familiar with, granted half the people I am more familiar with I would trust even less then a random stranger.

Well how the hell else am I supposed to?? Without giving out my own personal information as well? I figured if you see a face and friends to bout calling me by Joe on my page that would be enough, apparently not.

I was just messing with you, and making a joke about how myspace has shit tons of fake people on it. I know you're a real FBI agent and not just faking it.

How would making up people help a FBI agent find terrorists?

Oh, well I guess Bush did it...

I dunno I just read the OP so I guess I'm a little late with my response haha.

Why dont you just make up them up?

I could but the point of the project is to make contacts and stay in touch with them which is why its called a "international networking project" lol. That and I'm an honest person or at least try to be even with school work! :p

So Ive got two that I can actually use (thank you) so far and need eight more if anyone is interested in still helping out a guy!?? :E
