Hey just wondering if anyone is going to / has been to In Flames on their most recent tour...Im curious to know what the set list is.

Can't wait to see them here in Ireland...Missed Trivium here a couple of weeks ago so have to go mental for this one :borg:

Anyone going to Irish gig specifically?

I used to love them and have seen them 3 times here in the States but their new material just leaves me longing for the Whoracle days. The new stuff is far weaker than everything leading up to Reroute to Remain and the production on the Tokyo Showdown was some of the worst I have ever heard!

That said, they should still be a great concert. They all seem like such nice guys and their musicianship is so great that even if they don't make records like they used to, they can still rock the classics live like they used to! :)

Im really holding out for "My Sweet Shadow", "Episode 666", and most of all "The Quiet Place"....

Yeah, trying to hear the vocals on Tokyo Showdown is quite difficult...Have a few live clips and looks good so fingers crossed it will be a good show

The two times I've seen In Flames the set list was very simular on both occasions.

Pinball Map
The Qiet Place
Clayman
Trigger
My Sweet Shadow
Cloud Connected
System
Touch Of Red
Episode 666

And some other stuff I can't remember. Basically the Reroute, Clayman and Soundtrack albums. Bearing in mind the first time I saw them was Download 04 and they had a short set because Ozzy was on next on the Main Stage and he doesn't like having other bands playing because he wants all the crowd. The second time was supporting Motorhead.

I really used to like In Flames, but I went slowly off them due to constant over playing them. I know a few people that went right off them because of their later releases, but I liked Reroute and Soundtrack. Not heard the new 'un. I had been wanting to see IF for ages, and all the UK dates they did were in London which annoyed me. When I finally got to see them at Download they were pretty disapointing, but I was quite far back so that may of been one cause of my opinion. When supporting Motorhead I still throught they weren't that great but I was at the bar and not in the crowd. They did get the crowd moving and singing and whatnot, though. Don't know If I'm going to go along to this tour, but Sepultura are supporting so I may do.

However, had they played the almighty Food for the Gods... well..

havent heard the new album "come clarity" yet...and its the tour for that...hmm.... And Sepultura are supporting...Im not sure what they are like. All in all should be interesting at least

Sepultura are awesome. Not so much now, but their earlier stuff was brilliant. Check out the Arise or Beneath the Remains album, they play 1 or 2 songs from them.

I really want to see them this time round, but I cant get the time off work. A friend of mine saw them when they were supporting Motorhead, and he met one of the guitarists after in the bar. Apparently, he's a very very nice man indeed.
