Ok. I have been having this problem when playing back the songs I have downloaded. Either when I play them from my Shared music list or from my Playlist, it stops about two or three seconds into the song. What the hell? The songs it stops on is random.

Hmm, this happens to me while using Limewire to download. Sorry, I have no clue what the problem is though.

just go into options and turn limewire playback off and use your computers default music listening device

Did the clip download entirely? It'll let you play clips that haven't entirely downloaded. I'll sometimes play the first few seconds of a downloaded song to make sure it's the right one and it'll stop playing when the player catches up with the download. If the song is downloaded in its entirety, play it in an external player. That's the reason you downloaded it, right?

Well, the songs downloaded were complete. I just play them in LimeWire's mp3 playback feature. Should I really play them in an external player?

if the lime wire one isnt working then its worth a shot

Of course - I was under the impression that the Limewire player was so you could sample the music you downloaded. Do you use Limewire as your main MP3 player?

For the most part, yes. I guess going with WinAmp or WMP would be better?

I love Winamp - good support (in my opinion) and VERY customizable. I never ever use WMP unless I'm forced to in rare cases on the Internet.

Alright. All settled. All of my songs are now sitting perfectly and playing perfectly in my WinAMP playlist. :)
