Hello to everyone once again.
As usual we are back with another news article.

Today I am making a 'shout-out' and asking if anyone can help the Incoming Source development team with providing a dedicated server(s) to allow us to test our much-updated developers beta.

This would of course allow you to get access to the private developers beta and participate in our weekly* playtests.

What are we looking for?
*01 - can host 20-32 players with 'acceptable' latency.
*02 - *dedicated* server.
*03 - it is a windows-based build in its current form.. there is currently no linux-compiled build.. so please keep that in mind.

If you are able to help us accomplish this, that would be fantastic. We currently are testing large network-based games with the vehicles and other features are bundled together so thats why we are looking for the ability for hosting large-player games.

If you are willing and able, please contact Praz in one of the following manners:

email: [email protected]
aim: praz1187
msn: [email protected]

And on top of all of this, please enjoy these two new pieces of media.
They are 100% ingame and not modified and they display some of our new shaders, the main one (being displayed here) is the depth-of-field shader effect.

Enjoy.

Well yeah but it looks to me like double vision as well as DOF. But whatever.

It's not supposed to be blurry, it's supposed to give the feeling of being out of focus. It's close, but could still use some tweaking. I would suggest you guys spend that time getting dion's in rather than work on fancy shaders :p (someone always has to say it!)

Also, make sure you guys test the shader out on all DX levels and with varying "Shader Quality" settings.
