It's that time of week again. We have plenty to show so get ready, enjoy, relax! If you like this week, you'll love next week.
This week we are showing another map based on Earth. This environment is probably the farthest away from the core city that we focus on through out our story.
The map takes place in a beat up, industrialized area on Earth, not too far from the core city of Cera. Their are many ways of going about through the mapa s well as plenty of obstacles and objects to take cover behind. This map is for ground-based combat and it heavily focuses on such. Bases are placed on opposite ends of the map with quite a nice distance between the two. Their are flooded areas as well as solid ground. The map is being reated by JeanPaul, enjoy the following images:
We are also including images of the updated (again) inm_desolate.
The following images show off the scenery as well as the human base.
inm_desolate is not 100% complete yet as we are still adding props along with the Altair base. Enjoy the following screens for now:

We have also hired two new texture artists. Jenn0_Bing and ParthionShot.
In the upcoming weeks you can definitly expect comparison images between old maps and then comparing them to the newly custom re-textured versions. You can probably expect to see inm_scale first.
Nokia has also been programming like crazy. In just this past week he has implemented a new alpha with a whole slew of new features, including:
Weapon Based:
-added iron sights to all weapons.
-all weapons have a melee attack.
-added weapon firing modes.
-Recoil added. (screen shake + bullet spread)
-Stance based accuracy (more accurate when crouched compared to jumping, etc).
Other:
-HUD implemented.
-Player model ingame.
-Rounds fixed.
-VGUI menus being added.
With programming pciking up immensly, you can count on some ingame footage coming up within the coming weeks.
Now for the progress update.

-Street sign prop modeled / skinned.
-Large tree model / UVmapped.
-Swamp tree(s) being modeled.
-FNC30 Model complete / UVmapped.
-XR8c model being optimized.
-Sako TRG-22 sniper rifle compiled and ingame.
-Steyr-M40 recompiled on new animations.
-MP5 recompiled with new iron sight animations (fixed).
-MX4 Model textured.
-Phantom Jet Fighter texture finished.
-Altair Warrior Player model underway.
