Hey everyone. The iSource development team is currently hiring various different roles and positions. If you are fit for any of the following roles listed (or even roles not listed... hey, come on, I am only human, I make mistakes too), then definitly post in this very thread or go about contacting me in one of many ways:

So their are many ways of reaching me or the team, including on these forums.

Positions Availible:
<<Player Animator: (1-2)
We are in the means of finding 1-2 player animators currently. They will be in charge of animating:
.human models
.alien models
.dinosaur models
They will be the people in charge of giving "life" to our creatures in the game.

<<Animator: (3-4)
We are in the means of finding 3-4 animators currently. They will be in charge of animating:
.weapons
.props (for the environments)
.vehicles
They will be working with many different objects for maps including trees, bases, and even our vehicle models.

<<Shader Programmer: (1-2)
We are in the means of finding 1-2 Shader Programmers currently. They will be in charge of the following:
.creating the effects and techniques used in the game (to make it even prettier).
They will be the ones in charge of giving us amazing effects to take advantage of to make our game look even better than it does right now.

<<Texture Artists: (2-4)
We are in the means of finding 2-4 texture artists currently. They will be in charge of various jobs, including the following:
.map textures (This will be the main focus. Heavily based outdoor textures along with a few city textures).
.map object textures (texturing items and materials for the actual environments).
They will be in charge of giving us a unique and distinct look to our game.

<<Concept Artists: (2-4)
We are in the means of finding 2-4 concept artists currently. They will be in charge of various jobs, including the following:
.player concepts .
.vehicle concepts.
.map concepts.
.weapon concepts.
.object concepts.
They will be the people in charge of creating and designing the items and objects found in the game. They will get to see their designs brought to life.

<<Mappers: (4)
We are in the means of finding 4 mappers currently. They will be in charge of creating our environments, including the following:
.outdoor environments.
.city-type environments.
They need to be experienced with displacement mapping for our nature setting environments along with being able to create city-type maps.

So you say this is "iSource". Is this an actual SOURCE purchase, or is it a MOD.

I've noticed you either left out Music and Sounds artist, or you have on already.
 
iSource = Incoming Source...

It's a mod.
 
Yes yes, Im aware its a 'mod'. But saying it is SOURCE leads people to belive built off of the SOURCE ENGINE. As in CS:S. Other wise its MOD.

Not Really. There are many non-official mods that use the word source and there are official mods that do not use the word source....

For example:
Zombie Panic: Source
Train Hunters Source
Black Mesa: Source Etc

I don't think sticking source on the end makes people think Official. I tend to think that it means that it's a conversion of a HL1 game to the HL2 engine.



Now about the mod. How many people to you have already? What is your role as part of the mod other that "leader"?

LOL!

It being a HL2 mod makes it built off the Source Engine.
