Unlike most people I LIKED the new cole and it actually got me interested in this sequel to an otherwise mediocre and overrated game! :flame:

**** sake the original cole was supposed to be an everyday guy but was very generic and wouldn't be mistaken for a character in a space marine/modern warfare shooter!

anyway yeah i've lost some interest now after devs cave into the ****ing fans >_>

So the devs listening to what the fans have to say is a bad thing if it happens with a series you don't particularly like? Right...
 
kinda :p

the new look made me like the new aesthetic the game had made for itself and seemed far more appealing but the progress seemingly made was thrown away to please diehards. Now others are pissed (not just me) that they changed it back!

BTW listening to the fans isn't always a good thing, just look at resistance 2 =/...
 
The fans wanted the original Cole design back? Hmm, but he sucked.
 
I liked the old Cole, but theyve specifically said he wont look like the old one.

Theyre going for a mix of the two.

The new voice actor is better, he clearly smokes less, but they have to get the outfit sorted.

I liked the old Cole's outfit, but the new guy's was terrible when I first saw the announcement trailer.

From what i'm hearing it sounds like they are going closer to the original

Due to the stage in development, I can't tell you exactly what he looks like, but I can tell you he looks more like the person we played as in the original Infamous and less like the man who was in all of those E3 screens and videos.

I saw the trailer a bit ago and thought it looked decent (mostly because of the main character anim's). Won't be buying it.
 
I have no interest in anything Infamous-related, so take that as you will. But despite having no love for the old design, I have to say the new one was worse. Wise choice to change it.
 
I only played the demo of the first game and cole looked very generic imo

Old cole's appearance doesnt matter to me, it was the voice that really sucked.

Also, Infamous sucks dick.
 
I like variety, you should be able to just chose the skin he wears. how ****ing hard is it to switch character skins in game?? Jesus
 
is there a comparison picture, because from what I saw in the trailer for the new game he looked like a normal boring dude

Can't really comment as I've never played Infamous, though I do prefer the look of the Old model over the new one.

On another note, is Infamous actually worth a play through?
 
If I was an electrically-charged super-being, I'd probably put more time in designing my tattoos.

I mean come on, tribals? Every Unit-wearing douche-**** I see has tribals.
 
Wow, I have no investment in this game but yeah, good change. The new character looks like he was precision engineered for maximum doucheness. :|

As long as traveling and climbing around the city isn't tedious and boring as **** I might give this one a shot. They need to take a page from Prototype's book if you ask me. That shit was a blast.
 
As long as the missions aren't as horrible as Prototype. >_>

But yeah that shit was a trip.

I have thought it was ok.

Gameplay is more fluid than the first but like its predecessor i just quite frankly dont think there is anything special on offer here really
 
Haha ****, they are both terribly boring, and both scream douche. I guess the new look was a tad worse.
