inFamous

In-famous is when you're MORE than famous. This man El Guapo, he's not just famous, he's IN-famous.

Looks a bit over the top, like Force Unleashed.

I would if it was coming to the 360.

Alas, it is not, so I will just have to do without Sony's own Crackdown.:p

Been watching the trailers, looks fun, but not quite on the same level as Prototype.

I think it's a mail plane.
How can you tell?
Well, didn't you see the little balls?

Prototype better? Prototype looks like thrash to me. Like saying Halo is better than HL or something. What I mean is Infamouse looks more engaging whereas Protoype just looks like ''YAY EXPLOSHENS!''.

They both look like games that'll get old after playing them for a couple of hours.
Not particularly interested in either of them but Prototype looks like you can do a whole lot more.

Prototype looks better.
Indeed, when it comes to Sandbox games, both Prototype and Red Faction: Guerilla look a lot more fun than this.

Also Jimbo, the devs behind Prototype made Hulk: Ultimate Destruction for the XB1 and PS2, which was a great open-ended sandbox destruction game too :) So I'm expecting more of the same.

OH THE IRONY!!

And yeah, I'm getting the game just because it has little bonus within the game, which is Uncharted multiplayer demo.

Wurd.

If it wasn't third person perspective it would be a no-brainer purchase for me. Since it is however, I'll probably check out Killzone 2 first. This game certainly intrigues me and maybe it can help me get over my hatred of third person, only time will tell.

Red Faction: Guerilla looks like a bland, unoriginal, repetitive and contrived game built solely because they wanted to use the interesting physics technology they'd come up with.

Don't know all that much about Prototype, other than the main character is about the least relatable I've ever seen and it is a very different game to Infamous, which looks pretty fantastic. Comparisons between the two stem only from ignorance.

Edit:
If it wasn't third person perspective it would be a no-brainer purchase for me.
You cannot possibly navigate the city they way it is done in Infamous in first person. Stop being silly, silly person.

Stop being silly, silly person.

It's in his nature!

Not really interested in Prototype or Infamous to a degree that might warrant a purchase. But I will play it at my friend's place.

What would be a better perspective? I can't see first-person working with such a fluid climbing system.

Would love to play this game, but Prototype looks like it will be the same or better.

I'm not saying it should be in a different perspective. Not at all. I'm just saying I don't like third person perspective games, no more no less. I think everything about this game sounds extremely interesting and has more than enough for me to purchase it, but any game in third person is going to turn me off. I also said I still may give it a go one day.

Is it really my nature to be "silly?" Learn something new everyday.

You are a perfect example as to why halflife2.net should not let new people register.:p

It's funny you mention ignorance, if you had actually read up the least on RF:G you'd realized it's anything but bland, unoriginal, repetitive and contrived.

I've read up on it extensively and played the demo. And people with views you don't share shouldn't be allowed to register? Well you can suck my big red faction.

...I think.

No such thing as freedom or democracy on the internet.;)

No, there is definitely freedom. I'm free to say whatever I want, you're free to say whatever you want. Difference being that I'm free to say things that are correct and you're free to say things that are incorrect.

And the admins are free to ban you and me for whatever reason they can think off.

Farrow already stepped up, I was just continuing :)

Infamous looks incredibly fun and compelling. Prototype, not so much.. although they could both end up awesome, which is always the best end result.

It's a sweater!

Took me years to realise what on earth he was talking about. Come to think of it, I never understood the Mail Plane until many years later when I watched it as an adult.

Sorry if I get banned for this, but it had to be done.

I was on the 'meh' side of the fence until the videos of the demo came out. The game looks fluid and INSANELY fun. The reviews have been great and the devs have more than proved themselves with their past titles. All signs point to awesome.

I only really started looking into this game a few days ago. Id heard of it before, seen some pointless pictures scattered around, you know, the usual kind that dont really tell you anything.

Now though, ive watched some of the interviews and gameplay videos, and have to say this is one of the coolest games ive ever seen.

Its like a euphoric mix of Crackdown, GTA4 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed with some Assassin's Creed thrown in.

Granted it borrows ideas from other games like theres no tomorrow, but no other game has taken those awesome ideas and mixed them together into one game.

I think it looks awesome, and more importantly, its a sandbox game that actually DOES have changes depending on the choices you make. And the fact that the controls are apparently perfect, there are over 100 side missions, and you can surf/grind on railway lines makes it a must-buy for me.

Demo on the 21st. Cant f-ing wait.
