Infantry anti-tank weapon vs ruskie t-90

I was wondering the damage a infantry anti-tank weapon can cause to a tank. After seing this, obviously I see that Battlefield 2 is pure bullshit.

Anyways, you COULD make the BF2 version that powerful, but you'd probably only get one shot with it, and considering the amount of armor in BF2 that would be bad.

BF2 is frankly more much more generous than real life in terms of handheld anti tank weaponry - having a handheld weapon that can destroy a modern battle tank in just 2 hits is laughably ridiculous
even an abrams has difficulty destroying another abrams
sure we've all seen the promotional videos on javelins - notice that the javelin is a stationary weapon and requires a team to use it and oh the target has to be immobile

It also depends greatly on where you hit the tank. Sometimes the rocket will bounce right off the tank, so you have to aim for its soft spots like right under the turret. So really BF2 is unrealistic in how easy it is to take out tanks.

Yeah, my friend was a Javelin Rocketeer in his squad before they deployed to Iraq (Then went M249 Gunner after they took his rockets. There is no armor to fight in Iraq ), has laughed at the effects on armor in games but afterall they have to for balance, if you complain about it on armor you have to complain that one shot doesn't down a man, even in a non-vital area.

Not so bad for tanks but for say the LAVs, they should be dead.

The AT weapons are balance, just like everything else in that game... If the Drag was a good as it should be then it would have the same power as the M24 and at the ranges in BF2 the fact that it's only accurate to 600m wouldnt matter.

In that video, the missile also hits the tank straight down from above which is where its armour would be weaker.
