i dont know if its old or not, but this game looks awesome!!! Both graphically and gameplay wise. Story, character, gameplay, graphics, sounds, everything seems perfect. It looks like the best Unreal Engine 3 game yet!!

I could puke at all the WW2 games.

Unless they did a BF 1942 remake :D

I would buy that

That looked good, but the people who presented it officially have downs. They sounded like random audience members who researched everything about the game beforehand, and then ran it through their "lamens terms/tard" filter and spat out some "kewl" presentation.

The gameplay looks alright, though I can't say I'm happy with the over-the-shoulder direction they're taking. I understand it's not all the time, but still, I liked maneuvering on my own without corners being set points where I can lean around.

^ Pretty much, except with really nice visuals this time :O

Almost makes me want to torrent it when it comes out...

i hope its better than the original, the 1st sucked ass imo, i wish randy pitchford or whatever the **** his name is would stfu too, "look how awesome that is!!'', he spouted so much shit about the original that didnt live up to what he was banging on about all the time.

why do enemies never attack either? they always just sit behind their sandbag emplacement, i wish they would be more dynamic and counter attack or something..

why does the thompson sound so weak too? why cant they just rip the sound of it from band of brothers? MOH: Frontline's thompson sounded just like it.

This is Jasper he's got a bazooka!!

Health meters don't make any sense. Resting and healing doesn't make any sense (yet that's what he's doing in the demo) But red circles in the air do.

"They went from stealth to combat mode and... oh man, you won't believe this... I DID NOT PRESS A BUTTON!"

They sound as if they desperately wanted to convince everyone that the game is awesome.

And I LOLed at the "I surrounded him!" and "I don't want the machinegun to kill my bazooka!"

I find all war-themed shooters to be dull, really. Everyone seems to be obsessing over Call of Duty 4, especially the multiplayer beta, but nothing about it looks even remotely original or interesting. Talk about over-hyped.

You even dislike BF2? It's not your typical war-themed shooter really. Just asking, I mean, some are just really fun IMO.

I'll give it a rent, looks like a bland WW2 shooter with some fancy visuals

I love how the presenter thinks that slow motion kills was their unique idea. He goes on to say "I bet someone else is going to steal it." Yeah, someone already stole it. The developers of Max Payne stole it. They came to the future and stole it.

Then the other one says "if you had thrown the grenade to the left, he might have blown to the right!" or something, as if he'd never seen physics before.

[Edit] This is comedy gold.

"The memory of the man that baker lost haunts him". Okay. That's reasonable.
"The question the game asks is, y'know, is he going to go insane or is he going to be able to deal with that?" Because naturally, every officer in WW2 went insane if A MAN DIED. In THE FREAKING WAR.

"I've played this before". Well I hope you have, seeing as you're presenting a demo and everything.

I'm pretty sure he must be joking when he says "There's a couple of Germans there... they're the enemy! My mission is to kill the enemy. They don't see me. In fact, I'm looking at their backs, which is a great spot for me!"

Yea the presenters were trying way too hard to sell it. Personally I could never get into ww2 games. I played the demo for the original I think and this doesn't really seem to offer much new stuff. To each his own I guess.

The first one sucked complete ass. You couldn't hit shit from ten feet away and you followed the same boring format all throughout the game. Find enemies, suppress them until the red dot turns gray, tell your team to keep suppressing, find the single, linear path around the enemies, confront a few along the way, arrive at PERFECT flanking position that enemies are completely unaware of, fire, kill, done, lather, rinse, repeat ad nauseum.
