An amazing looking new indie title to hit the market.
Sidescrolling puzzle and action game in which you pilot a UFO of sorts through all sorts of surreal levels.

Sorry that the info is so vague, hardly any actual info about it., but really... the video shows it all.

Looks like an amalgamation of every flash game ever made. Could be entertaining.

Gameplay looks pretty uninspired, but visually its fantastic.

This looks crazy..Really hope this comes to PSN.

Looks pretty awesome, but yeah, quite a derivative mash-up. I see a lot of Patapon and PixelJunk in there. (That's not necessarily a bad thing. ;))

Looks interesting?

Music by Dimmu Borgir? Haven't heard that name in a long time, I had friends listening to that when I was about 14-15 I guess.

Artwork is absolutely fantastic, but I'm not sure I'd actually enjoy playing it.

The trouble with this is that it looks original and lovely, and sounds it too. But I'm not itching to get in control of that UFO ... I watch that and I think that it's visually amazing, but I'd get bored after 5 minutes.

Epic.

I'm surprised at everyone's reactions. This trailer won me over 100%. Not only do I love the gorgeous visuals, but the gameplay looks to be a lot of fun!

I decided to look up lead designer Michel Gagne's name, and it seems that while he may be fairly unknown in game industry, he is very well-grounded in the world of film and print media. He has published quite a few of his own comics/graphic novels, including a very outlandish Batman story that he did for DC Comics.

In addition, he was the special effects animator/designer for movies like The Iron Giant, Star Wars: Clone Wars, The Powerpuff Girls Movie (liking the Genndy Tartakovsky cred), The Swan Princess, Space Jam, and Horton Hears A Who. Hell, looking back even more, he did some animation for the original Land Before Time and American Tail.

Besides all of that, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is such an awesome name for a game. Well done.

Sure, the name sounds a little cliche. But the gameplay looks fun.

Looks similar to pixel junk eden.

Eh, you know what? Never mind. Pixel junk eden has nothing on this epic looking game.

But does any of that make him a good video game designer?

We'll see when the game comes out, since this'll probably be his first foray into video games.
