Just a lovely video I felt like sharing.

Seen it before. And it leaves me cold :|

Beautiful and very touching.
Significance of Carl Sagan's legacy is almost inexpressible. I miss him.

It put me to sleep, not that it was boring, the voice and music just made me sleepy.

Found these two videos interesting too:

Especially the last half of the second video where he is talking about how the human race should work together to thrive and live.

Always thought like that, always will do, as much of a passion that I have for small things like games, and doing well at uni, I can't help but feel that we flounder around thinking small and don't take the bigger picture seriously enough, and what really stinks is we rarely learn from our mistakes. If we really put our backs into it and embraced some fancy ideas and thinking (NASA I'm pointing my finger at you bitches) we as a people could really do something epic.

what exactly do you want them to do ?

This videos pwn.

I dont see why this makes people drop religion?

Explain?

Oh god....that's just...amazing.

@Azner It's just really hard to believe one "person" created ALL of the universe....and since the bible doesn't say anything about any other living beings out there...one would think there isn't any. But that's just ignorant to think there is nothing but us as living beings in the entire universe.

Religion just got pwned. :p

It's amazing, it's inspiring, it's wonderful, it's posted once a goddamn week.

Over it.

Edit - Dayumn. Ren's one got me thinking though. Millions and billions of light years away? So, when we look into the sky at night, we're literally looking into the past...

Odd, I already knew how light years worked and that stars aren't as they appear in the night sky, but somehow this is a revelation to me.

Damn you Carl, you've done it again! *gratified fistshake*

Well it doesn't take Carl to show that there's something wrong with the age specified by the Bible. 6000 years? Didn't we learn at school that the Earth is approximately 4,6 billion years old?

Great movie, no matter how much time I see it, it still gets to me.

Every scientist in the world is, apparently, wrong. *sigh* Isn't it funny that their only way of proving it is by saying, "They are wrong".

Oh well.

Really wish I could see more of space, or at least witness people see much more of space before I die. Shame I probably wont.
