Install and run without port 27000?

Is it possible to install and run Half Life 2 without having access to ports 27000, etc? My ISP blocks those ports and I can't change ISPs. And this would be for a legal retail copy of HL2.

So I guess this means that if you don't have Port 27000 then you can't play Half Life 2. Ah, copy protection that keeps you from playing the copy you bought.

Try to use a proxy ( from aliveproxy.com for example ) to get around the port block.

Out of curiousity, what ISP is blocking the HL / quake ports?
