Install problem

Hi all, I just got the Orange box and am trying to install it. The problem is that I want to install it to my external 2nd hard drive, but the install process is not allowing me to choose the install path. My internal hard disk does not have enough space on it for the install. Is there a work around to this that anyone knows of ?

Try install Steam on your internal hard drive don't worry it's not big. Then copy the Steam folder to your 2nd hard drive and try to install. Also it might help to have steam running when installing.

steam games ALWAYS install to your steam folder. nowhere else. if you have installed steam on c:/program files/steam, and your c: is full, you're screwed unless you uninstall and re-install somewhere else. you cannot install some steam games in one folder / hdd, and others in a different one.
