I'm pretty good with computers and stuff, but I need help with this one. I have an old video card (which will be replaced with a newer one like ATI 9600XT or above), but here is my problem.
I just built this new PC and threw in this old video card, Nvidia Vanta yayee. Anyways, the card runs fine on the Windows default drivers but I want to use the updated Nvidia drivers so I can overclock and stuff. I downloaded the drivers, installed them, and when I reboot everything seems fine for about 5 minutes. Then the computer locks up and I get a blue screen with some error messages (which I can't see fast enough) and the computer reboots. I did catch something about "looping" but I don't know what that means. Here are my system specs. if you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have the latest drivers for my system. (Should I try Omega?)
AMD64 3000+
512mb RAM
40gb harddrive
Windows XP Pro
Nforce3 250 chipset (latest drivers)
