I'm pretty good with computers and stuff, but I need help with this one. I have an old video card (which will be replaced with a newer one like ATI 9600XT or above), but here is my problem.

I just built this new PC and threw in this old video card, Nvidia Vanta:D yayee. Anyways, the card runs fine on the Windows default drivers but I want to use the updated Nvidia drivers so I can overclock and stuff. I downloaded the drivers, installed them, and when I reboot everything seems fine for about 5 minutes. Then the computer locks up and I get a blue screen with some error messages (which I can't see fast enough) and the computer reboots. I did catch something about "looping" but I don't know what that means. Here are my system specs. if you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have the latest drivers for my system. (Should I try Omega?)

AMD64 3000+
512mb RAM
40gb harddrive
Windows XP Pro
Nforce3 250 chipset (latest drivers)

I guess no one knows, I read up on Nvidia Looping error and there isn't a fix. Just a bunch of stuff to try

I FIXED THAT LOOP ERROR FINALLY, well about 2 hours ago. I installed the older Detonator Nvidia drivers. Now I can overclock that piece and at least play CS. Once I get my better video card then I can play CS:S and HL2 again.
