I just upgraded from nvidia to a radeon 9600 pro, and need alittle help installing the 3.7 drivers. So i am on ATI's website reading the instructions installing new drivers, but it got me a little confused.

Can someone please post step by step instructions installing new CATALYST drivers so i dont screw my machine up?

Thanks

Run the exe. I mean, that's all there is to it.. they seem to install over the old drivers fine on my system.

download the full package that has the driver and the control panel, then double click the exe.....

but you might want to first get detonator destroyer to totally remove the old nvidia drivers.

also, the catalyst 3.9's were released yesterday...

i just want to get rid of thoughs 3.2 drivers :afro:

Cat 3.8 and up (assuming up, hehe, havent installed 3.9 yet) include an ATI uninstaller. Just go to the dir (ATI/support/driverversion/) and run AtiCimUn.exe. Though you could run one of those driver cleaners too.
