installing mods

how the hell do you install a Mod? Just for playing, not editing or anything like that.

Usually, if you just have a folder for the mod you place it in 'source mods' folder where your email folder is and your game .gcfs. Its in steam/steamapps.

Other mods have installers with them, which will find this place for you. THe mod will be displayed under 'third party games' in steam after installation.
