Installing XP Pro x64 w/o a Floppy Drive

Vista is fine and all, but I need my XP Pro x64 on my laptop for VMware-ing. I have the CD laying around but the problem is it doesn't have the drivers for my notebook's SATA hard drive. Which is fine except my notebook doesn't have a floppy drive. I know the CD will only grab drivers from a floppy drive. My question is will a USB floppy work if my BIOS can detect it (I'm hoping it will)? The only other way would be to slipstream drivers into a new CD and I've never messed around with that before. What should I do?

I believe the windows install will only look to floppy disk for drivers. Not sure if a USB floppy would be recognised as a floppy outside of windows. Probably needs drivers.

this will work well too. i did the same for my raid drivers.
