Intel's NetBurst is dead, finally and good riddance

The P6 core (PII, PIII, P-M) will rule again, possibly. They say they are working on a dual core chip next (Like AMD) and the P-M fits their needs, IMO. If so, they will have come full circle.
P6 -> NetBurst -> P6
NetBurst is terrible...and so is CineFX.

Wow...thats a lot of Research and Development money down the drain for Intel. At least they have a starting point for their new chips with the Pentium M (which is a great processor if I may add). It will be interesting how Intel bounces back from all of this.
