Interactive Online Games?

Have any of you seen things like this yet? They are sites accessable by most if not any browsers.

Basically its like a forum, but you earn forum money for posting and playing flash games, and fighting other members. You can raise a pet, build an army.

You can fight other members with weapons in the store, you can even craft new weapons and items by using resources you get from killing NPC charactors.

They call it a RPF (role playing forum) or a game+forum which is a gorm. The ones I found are

Bloodburn.com and AvPvM.com

The bloodburn one is set in some mad max post apocolyptic era. You can buy/make medkits, ak-47's drugs, you can buy prostitutes too. heh.

The second one is set in the aliens vs predator universe, You can pick a species, and use the items they are known to use. I play on those places, and thought other people might like to play on them too.

this is as bad as those other java based chat program things, but this is so much worse, it feels wrong in a way.

Well actually its not, Since its not java any browser can run it. It also has soo much deatil to it, But oh well nevermind.

Hey, that looks cool. I played Gaia Online for a (very short) while, it's great for developing your imagination, visualisation and also writing skill. AVPvM sounds awesome, I have to try that out.

Hey War, how does AvPvM work? How do I join a certain species and where do I start out etc?

When you register you become a civilian (neutral) If you want to join the war and pick a species, click on the "Armory" button near the top left. That is the store, then go to the "Species Lab" Link on the left, and buy the apporpriate species.

You can change species any time, but your stats get reset.

Above the species lab, you can see other "Stores" battlefield items, alien, marine, predator weapons and items, and crafting stores for each. Take a look around.
