Heya community,

We are currently looking for developers for swiftmod.com. We are not looking for kids trying to do some models, neither for people ONLY out for increasing there portfolio. We are looking for developers who like the concept of swift, and have fun in whatever they are doing. (coding, concepts, modelling, skinning, writting, mapping etc).

Sounds like a cool simple idea, i might do some maps for you in the future. I got way too much work at the moment... but you really dont need a mapper right now since the SDK isnt out :)

And i need to work on my portfolio/CV.... thanks for reminding me.
 
Majestic: whenever ure interested, (and the sdk is out) get back to me, I got the DD's and concepts for several maps lieing around here already
Badger: what areas you skilled in?
 
I'm a writer, but I'm not sure you'd need me, I'm also a rather OK mapper (in my own mind :p )
 
From the concept I see, if you don't surprise me and give it a new direction, it isn't very original.

Biochems in the air - elite team is ordered x-terminate all ppl in contact - possibly with a little coups and twists.... Maybe you can have max permanency time
hallucinations and need to worry on infected men that might be harmful to the team("the thing" - like)

Since I'm just a writer, a n00b in all other stuff related to modding, I'm just giving my own contribution.

An as you can see on my sig, I'm working on NSO, so = unavaible.

No hiring for me ^

Sure, i just need to improve some of my mapping skills, im more of a mod designer now. Ill keep you posted :)

Im not sure if i got the time though... got several projects going on (underground) atm.

Well, you got a good point there, some movies and games have focused around the theme of viruses and such, but we do try to be diffrent. For one, the virus will not play the major part in swift, for a second, most of our ideas, gametypes etc. are not public for various (& obvious) reasons.

On a side note:

Modellers (focusing on character design) and concept artist are needed
 
Pendragon: yeah we did...we took apart the BF engine in and out...but for the things we wanted...BF just wasnt the right thing...:( (might release our BF version to the public some time...but thats a diffrent story)

now swift will kick major ass on HL2 :)
finally our ideas & creativity can be the limitation, and not the engine :)
 
yup I know...I mailed most places which still link to us as BF mod...but what can one do ;)
