Was just stumbling around fairly recent posts on SomethingAwful.com's forums when I found this thread with a really gripping and interesting short story.

It's fairly obvious its fiction, but it is just written so well I would buy it as a book, and I dont ever buy books. From the first part it had me gripped, so if you have about 30 minutes to waste, this is well worth reading.

There is also a second story that I am mid way through at the moment.

READ! :)

Just finished the third, they are great, more people should be reading them :p

There are .pdf's for each on the post for the third story if none of you like navigating through forum threads.

Can anybody find out if this story is available in a word document for me to save, or on a website for me to copy n paste, or even the guys email address? I know I can't because I dont have a credit card to register to SA with.

I just got done reading it. Absolutely amazing. =]
I was hooked after the first part, and couldn't stop reading.

You dont need to be registered to view the SA forum threads (apart from some random times).

Here are the direct links to the .pdf files that were made of them
Story1
Story2
Story3
And you need the free Adobe Acrobat reader to view them where you can download from here

Actually what it was: the 'save as' option on adobe (which I do have but thanks anyway) was greyed out, so I was stumped until I thought to right click on the link and 'save target as'. Silly old me, eh?
