Interesting/weird/rare console games in Japan

My mates are going to Japan next week and they are going to bring home a bunch of consoles and games for me (and them), but I actually have no idea what to get. So, do you guys know any good consoles to get? I'm interested in older ones, since I am a bit of a collector.
