Managed to get Fedore Core 4 successfully installed on a P2 400MHz 128MB RAM system, with 500MB Swap partition. Network card fully recognised adn working.

Here is hte problem:
Some websites just wont load in firefox.
MSN.com wont.
but www.goteamspeak.com Will
I try downloading TeamSpeak server, but that wont work because the files are located at ftp.*********** which also will Not load.
pinging them works fine . . . i think. il have to check again, but it does return the full system name like msn.com.something.blah.blah and the IP address.

Message comes up like 5 minutes later saying Could not establish connection, or could not find server. (firefox)

googling doesnt bring me much, though i did come up with somthing about a MTU Route or something. but that is set in my D-Link ADSL Router and everything works fine in firefox and IE in windows xp. both the P2 400 and my PC here.

any suggestions anybody

thanks

ps il post more exact messages soon

Could be a DNS Problem. Is there an option to set up a primary and secondary dns server?

Its all done in my router. i have only a primary actually, and am still needin to get to my ISP about the 2ndary.

But anyways, here, on my P4 2.8 1024MB WinXP Pro system, internet works fine and flawless.

I am still needin to get familiar with linux, but i leave all IP handling to my DHCP in my router. or it should be that way.
