The Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2009 was just introduced in Congress. This important legislation would make Net Neutrality the law once and for all.

Tell Congress: Pass Net Neutrality Now
Censorship and freedom are not compatible. An internet that favors those with financial power and caters to specific political and financial parties while censoring others would be a huge mistake.
US members, here is a secure way to automatically address your letter to your congressman (based on your address).
The letter is pre-filled, but you may change the message as desired. There are only a few fields to fill out to identify yourself to your congressman. Please spend 5 minutes or less doing so now.

The phone and cable companies are scrambling to kill Net Neutrality so they can inspect and filter content, and overcharge you for using the Web in ways they don't like. Over the past six months alone, these companies have hired 500 lobbyists in Washington to try to stop this bill from becoming law.
It's up to you to tell your members of Congress to side with the public -- not with the corporate lobbyists -- and take a final stand for an open Internet by supporting the Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2009 (H.R. 3458).
