Hi guys,
i have a problem in all the steam games i have ever played- all seem to lag, in terms of internet, not frame rate. For example in tf2 im running along then all of a sudden everybody stops moving, i then appear somewhere else and most likely killed. During this lag the framerate doesnt drop and i am still able to move even though noone else is moving. This lag happens whenever it feels like. some matches it never happens some always. games like red 3 and bfme2 run flawlessly but their not connection hungry games.
As i mentioned this lag happens in all steam games, being particularly bad in l4d, where after the lag im inside the middle of horde being torn apart while team mates are some where else.
Im running a wireless conection, but im around 3 meters away from the router, signal strenght always being 100%.
And although i was promised "up to 8mb" broadband with AOL uk. Running a speed test, i recieved a ping of 74 and d/l speed of 2mb, which sucks:flame:. But should be sufficent.
Any ideas.
