Internet not working in XP!!

I now have xp pro installed on my 80gb hard drive and vista 32bit on my 500gb . When i boot up xp the internet doesnt work??? It works fine when i boot up vista. Whats wrong here?? Thanks Alan-

Go to your command prompt on both installations (Start > Run > type cmd) and type ipconfig. Paste here what you get for both computers.

Just run the network wizard and you'll eventually see what you missed.

Lol, ya. Be sure you got the correct drivers for your OS.

right click on my computer go to properties. then click hardware tab and the device manager button. all of the stuff with the yellow exclamation point is the drivers you will need for your hardware.

Nothing happens when you type ipconfig? Do you get any error messages or any other message for that matter?

Do as giant suggested, check your device manager. You can also go to control panel > network connections and tell us what is listed there. You should have at minimum "local area connection".

Problem has been resolved thanks! Just needed the drivers and i had the cd to install thank god.
