Internet working but limewire will not download anything

Hey, I use limewire for music and movies and stuff, and today, it just won't download, It just does "Connecting..." and never actually connects to anything (that is every download I have tried, which is alot). Weirdly enough, this just started today.

On an unrelated note, every time I open my bittorrent client, my LAN disconnects itself from the internet, then later reconnects.

Never used to happen before. Why now?

Do you mean right when it loads up, or after it's been downloading/seeding for a while. I know that if you set the amount of users too high, your router will sort of shut down and require an uplugging.

Right when it loads up, and starts connecting to a file.

limewire is weird. At one point I had like 10 files all were 97% complete, and hadn't moved for weeks.

Yea, I just got that.
I restarted my comp, shut off limewire, restarted my new router, and then it worked.

I had this problem. It has something to do with fake results or something. Anyway, if you're searching for a song, click the audio tab, then search for the title of the song only. Results will be mixed and jumbled, but it usually works for me.

Do the same for videos and stuffs.

Try Ares. If that doesnt work, try KCEasy. If neither of them work then its your computer.
