Give me a break.

A Fallout MMOG would need to include permadeath, vast stretches of wasteland you can't fast travel through and very, very few NPCs or inhabited locations.

And that's only fulfilling the post-nuclear criteria.

Besides, Interplay currently has about one programmer and four accountants, hardly a developer company.

Erm, these ain't news though, the registration papers etc with US copyright office or some other shit where they detail a plan for a Fallout MMO has been around for years, infact I made the original HL2.net thread on it IIRC.

as much as I'd like a post apocolypti MMO I wouldnt count on a fallout mmo from interplay any time soon ..they've had a rocky few years ..the sale of the Fallout IP was the only reason why they didnt lose money that fiscal year:

The net income reported in the twelve-month period of this year was primarily the result of the recording of $5,750,000 in income from recognition of the sale of the “Fallout” intellectual property.


The Company reported net income of $5.86 million

If they dont even have funding for the project dont expect a completed game for another few years at least

I don't expect anything to come from this anytime soon considering they are still in financial limbo really. Maybe one day though we will see something
