Anyone seen the movie Into the Wild, released last year, directed by Sean Penn? It's amazing, following the true story of the life and death of Chris McCandless.

I was just about to make a thread about it.

I just watched it, awesome... incredibly powerful and thought provoking.

It's probably the best movie I've seen all year.

Really good movie. It takes a while to get going IMO, but everything past the midway point was top notch. And the ending really affected me.

Yeah me too, my friends and I watched it together and we were constantly bringing it up for the next two weeks, and all of us were incredibly moved by the ending.

Plus, I went from hating Eddie Vedder to loving him because the soundtrack is great.
