My sounds are backwards on my speakers (left sounds played in right speaker, and vice versa), how do I fix?

Damn I know theres a way to switch around the output just by clicking some things in windows but I can't remember...I shall investigate.

Edit: Maybe not :(

Your speakers settings are OK, they just happen to be sitting at the wrong side of you.
Change them around: Put left speaker on the left side of you, and right speaker on the right side of you. Like Hectic Glenn said. Or change the speaker wires around.

Good Luck, You gonna need it.

In EVERY other game the sound is fine... Just in HL2 it's inverted.

Why do you only want sound coming out of one speaker anyway?

Why not harness the awsome ****ing power of two!?

What the hell are you talking about? Y'know, Danimal - Crack is one hell of a drug.

I have 2, and the left sounds are coming out the right speaker, the right sounds are coming out the left speaker.

And you cant move the left-speaker to the right and vise-verse? I'm very lost in this.

Dude, thats just the way Gordon hears things - you get used to it after a while.

He said it was Half-Life 2 only. The speakers are not really switched. Just the game thinks so.
Moving the speakers would let him hear the game correctly but he would have to constantly be switching them. If you have a special sound icon by the clock, is there anyway to set settings for specific games? I'm not sure why HL2 would play sounds inverted. Could there be a console command for that?
