Im not really to sure what fourm to post this in so i though i would stick it in here!

Does any one know how i can find out my own ip?!

pr0, not to sure if this is gunna work, on a uni network at the mo and we are trying to set up some counter-strike :S i think thats the uni ip.

Lan IPs you can probably find by going Start / Run / type "cmd" and press enter - then in the dos console type "ipconfig /all"

If the IP method dosent work, use your computer name , thats what we have to do when we play Quake

i was hoping the servers would jsut come up but i think there is somthing wrong with me pc/connection, i think because im using firefox insted of IE its not alowing me on the network proply. I cant you msn and get them kind of streaming downloads like steam. Where as everyone elce can, im the only one with fire fox :/

Firefox wont make any difference to your network conection, it's just a browser

erm is there any way i can find out someone's IP address with just an email address? Someone sent a scam email (and it was pretty serious.) is there anyway?

Well ie did make a differance, and its all working now, had a game of CS yesterday
