My iPod recently broke, and i'm wanting to buy something a little more flexible than the ipod, but that still has the huge user base (for mods and hacks) that the ipod has.
So, my idea is to spend around 120 dollars on a broken ipod video on ebay, an 80-120 gig 2.5" drive on newegg, and a small homemade casing for the whole deal, then using some elbow grease, my knowledge of electronics, and a few online tuts to put them all together to make a 120 gig ipod.
Thoughts? Yes No? Contraindictions? Not possible with an ipod video? Discuss?
